Do you charge for a quote?
Most quotes are free. For larger jobs like rewires we may need a site survey first, and we'll confirm any survey arrangement with you before booking a visit.
Can you help with urgent faults?
Mark your request as urgent in the form and describe the problem. If anything is sparking, hot or smells of burning, switch off at the consumer unit if it's safe to do so and keep clear.
How disruptive is a rewire?
It depends on the property, but we work in planned stages and agree in advance which rooms will be affected and when. Power is kept on to essential circuits wherever possible.
Will I receive certificates?
Yes. Notifiable work comes with the appropriate certification and test results, which you'll want to keep for insurance or a future sale.
Do you work for landlords and small businesses?
We do: condition reports, lighting upgrades, additional circuits and repairs for rental homes, shops, studios and small offices.
